Sleeps: 6 (Plus baby in cot - full size cot and travel cot available)

Bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms: A ground floor room has a double bed and open plan en-suite bathroom; The principal bedroom on the first floor has a king size bed and ensuite wc; A large twin room has a 3rd single bed giving flexibility for families with 3 young children. A screen provides privacy if required.

Bathrooms: Two bathrooms - a family shower room on the ground floor and the en-suite bathroom in the ground floor double bedroom. Also an en-suite toilet in the first floor king size bedroom.

Kitchen: Designed for larger families or families holidaying together, the large well equipped family kitchen has a dining table comfortably seating up to 10, an impressive original Charentaise stone fireplace with log burner, 5 ring gas hob with electric oven, washing machine, a fridge freezer, a microwave, a stove top kettle, an electric coffee maker and cafetiere, and a rice cooker.

Living Room: The large living room also has a Charentaise fireplace with log burner. There is a 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa, a grandfather chair and TV with French TV channels.

Garden: South facing garden with garden furniture, parasol and gas BBQ, ideal for alfresco dining.

Other: The Farmhouse includes exclusive use of the open barn on the opposite side of the garden is equipped with outdoor furniture and a sink. It’s is ideal for dining in the cool when it’s too hot to sit outside. It’s also great entertaining space for get-togethers if you book the farmhouse plus one or more of our other gites.

Also supplied: Wifi, bed linen, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels, beach umbrella, cool box with picnic plates & cutlery, freezer blocks, and 4 bar UK extension lead for charging your phones and laptops. Pool towels can be hired for a small charge of 4€ per towel per stay. There is a large electric fan in each bedroom for the summer, and for cooler months two log burners and electric heaters provide warmth.

Baby and toddler equipment available on request at no charge. Please order in advance as we have limited stock of each item, and we can make sure your requested items are ready in your gite for your arrival.

Keeping the Farmhouse cool: Thick stone walls keep the Farmhouse cool in the summer. Close shutters and windows during the day to keep out the heat, opening them in the evening and early morning to allow cool air in. There is also a large floor standing fan in each bedroom.
